While I consider myself mainly a "camera person", my roles in the realm of visual content production are diverse. I'm a photographer, cinematographer and director, with over 20 years of experience in the commercial, documentary and corporate content production areas.
I was born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel, where I also got my diploma in filmmaking (Jerusalem Sam Spiegel Film School, 1999). I made Berlin my home in 2001, from where I'm working worldwide as a freelancer, hired by agencies, production companies, but also producing independently for brands and organizations, alongside my ongoing personal work in both still and moving image.
With an ad-hoc approach to project execution, I am tailoring the right teams to a wide range of clients, their needs and budget. Rooted in the documentary world, I've learned the art of “making something out of nothing”, staying efficient and agile by making best use of available resources and keeping minimal production footprint for greater flexibility.
My biggest passion is exploring the many ways and aspects to reflect on the state of humans and humanity, seeking and finding beauty in unexpected places.
